Jim Pether, scientific advisor, well know herpetoculturist. Born in London, he has been the director of Centro de Investigaciones Herpetológicas in Gran Canaria for over 17 years. Intrepid explorer he has travelled all over the world, author of many articles and scientific papers, on reptiles. He has appeared in various documentaries as a presenter, such as “Mad about reptiles” and programs for the BBC and National Geographic. He is actually responsible for the captive breeding and well being of the Giant Lizard of La Gomera, one of the rarest in the world.
